The PV 55 is the three-phase 400V version of the PVM 55 — a compact 0.18kW brass-body peripheral pump with no iron components, designed for cooling systems, HVAC circuits, ironing systems, and industrial applications where rust-free construction and chemical resistance are required. Three-phase IE3 motor efficiency makes it the preferred specification for commercial installations on 400V supply.

Description

The Pedrollo PV 55 is the three-phase counterpart to the single-phase PVM 55, sharing the same full brass pump body construction and silicon carbide mechanical seal specification but configured for 400V three-phase commercial and industrial installations.

The brass pump body and brass impeller eliminate all ferrous components from the fluid path — critical in cooling and HVAC recirculation systems, steam ironing equipment, food industry applications, and medical or laboratory fluid circuits where contamination standards are enforced.

The silicon carbide / graphite / NBR mechanical seal provides greater chemical resistance than ceramic seals used in standard pumps. The stainless steel AISI 431 motor shaft provides additional corrosion resistance. The three-phase IE3 motor provides efficient, smooth operation for continuous recirculation duty. For single-phase 230V installations, the PVM 55 (PED 1857) is the equivalent.
