1. Who We Are
PedroPumps.com is a trading name of Innovative Product Development International CC (IPDI), an authorised South African distributor of Pedrollo pumps since 1988.

2. Returns for Incorrect Items
Any claim of an incorrect item must be reported within 5 days of purchase or delivery. A pump’s suitability is apparent on opening the box — we do not extend this window beyond 5 days under any circumstances.
2.1 IPDI CC shipping error (wrong item shipped, not as per your order): IPDI CC covers the full cost of returning the incorrect item and shipping the correct item to you. No restocking fee applies.
2.2 Buyer ordering error (e.g. a 220V unit ordered instead of a 380/400V unit): the buyer is responsible for the cost of returning the incorrect item to IPDI CC, the restocking fee (see Section 5), and the shipping cost of the correct item.
3. Conditions for Return
To qualify for a refund, the item must be:
- Unused and in original condition
- In its original packaging
- Not coupled to any pipework or power source
All returns are subject to thorough inspection by our workshop before a refund is approved.
4. Return Shipping for Guarantee Claims
For guarantee/warranty claims, the customer is responsible for the cost of returning the unit to IPDI CC for inspection (see Section 6 for the audit process).
5. Restocking Fee
A restocking fee of 15% of the item’s value (ex VAT) applies where the buyer ordered the incorrect item (Section 2.2). No restocking fee applies to IPDI CC shipping errors (Section 2.1) or approved guarantee claims.
6. Manufacturer Defects / Guarantee Claims
Guarantee claims (units failing after normal use, as distinct from incorrect-item returns) are subject to an initial technical audit by IPDI CC covering:
a) The installation, and
b) The registered commissioning card, which must be completed and submitted to tech@pedropumps.com (copied to sales@ipdi.online) within 5 days of commissioning the unit.
If our audit indicates a manufacturing defect, IPDI CC will forward the claim to Pedrollo’s manufacturer representative in South Africa. This process can take up to 7 working days. IPDI CC has no jurisdiction over the outcome, response time, or findings of the manufacturer’s assessment, and accepts no liability for loss of production or any other loss incurred by the buyer during the guarantee audit process.
7. Guarantee Claim Audit Requirements
Prior to returning any product for a guarantee claim, a full photographic record of the installation must be sent via WhatsApp to 082 651 9841, and the technical audit must be completed before the unit is removed from the installation. Claims that do not comply with this requirement may be rejected.
8. Return and Repair Drop-off Locations
Returns and repairs can be delivered in person to either of our branches:
- Durban (Bothas Hill)
- Cape Town (Airport Industria)
Customers outside these areas may courier items to either branch at their own cost, or request that we arrange collection via our courier at a quoted fee, payable prior to return.
