Pump fluid flow rate in liters per minute.

Static head is the highest point to which the pump must elevate the fluid. It is measured from the center body of the volute casing to the maximum vertical height of the discharge pipe above the pump.

Friction Head is the friction loss the fluid experiences while traveling through the pipe system. In terms of water, this is easily determined by consulting a friction loss curve. You will need to know the pipe’s total length and internal diameter.

Another piece of information you will need is the suction condition under which you expect the pump to operate. Is it flooded (water level above pump center body), self-priming (pump is above water level), or submersible (pump is located inside the water body?
