Description

The Pedrollo multistage CP range uses multiple impellers arranged in series within a single pump housing — each impeller adds pressure to the flow from the previous stage. The result is significantly higher head pressure than a single-stage centrifugal pump of the same motor rating, making multistage pumps the correct specification wherever high pressure is required at meaningful flow rates.

The 3CPM 80 uses three impellers in series — hence ‘3CP’ — within a compact single-phase pump body. Each stage adds head pressure to the flow from the previous stage, allowing the 3CPM 80 to achieve head pressures well beyond what a single-stage CPM 80 could deliver at the same 0.45kW motor rating. This makes it particularly effective in combination with small autoclave pressure tanks, boosting domestic water supply to upper floors, garden irrigation from elevated tanks, and any duty requiring sustained pressure at modest flow rates.

The 3CPM 80 operates on 230V single-phase supply with an IE2 motor featuring class F insulation, IPX4 weatherproof protection, and integrated thermal motor cutout. Constructed with a cast iron body with cataphoresis anti-corrosion treatment and AISI 304 stainless steel impellers with Pedrollo’s ten-year guarantee. Maximum working pressure 6 bar. Suction head up to 7m. Temperature range -10°C to +90°C.

For higher head requirements, the 4CPM range adds a fourth stage. For three-phase supply, the 4CP 100 (PED 4880) provides equivalent multistage performance with IE3 motor efficiency.
