Description

The Pedrollo large CP range — covering the CP 160, CP 210, CP 220, CP 230, and CP 250 series — extends the proven CP centrifugal pump platform into commercial, agricultural, and industrial territory. Where the standard CP range (up to CP 200) delivers up to 160 l/min and 56m head, the large CP range handles flows up to 900 l/min (54 m³/h) and heads up to 76m — serving civil water distribution networks, large-scale irrigation, industrial cooling and process water, air conditioning systems, and building services.

The CP 160B is the three-phase counterpart to the single-phase CPM 160B, sharing the same hydraulic performance — 240 l/min maximum flow and 37m maximum head — while delivering the operational advantages of three-phase IE3 motor technology.

At 1.5kW on 400V three-phase, the CP 160B is well suited to large civil water distribution, major agricultural irrigation, commercial swimming pools, industrial process cooling, and air conditioning systems where sustained high-volume flow is required. The IE3 motor ensures maximum energy efficiency under continuous duty — critical in applications where the pump operates for many hours per day.

Three-phase supply provides smoother startup, lower startup current relative to power, and inverter compatibility for variable speed operation — allowing the pump speed to be adjusted to match demand and reduce energy consumption during periods of lower flow requirement. Cast iron body with cataphoresis treatment, AISI 304 stainless steel impeller (ten-year guarantee), stainless steel shaft. Class F insulation, IPX4 protection. Maximum working pressure 10 bar.

For maximum output in the three-phase CP 160 range, the CP 160A (PED 3165) at 2.2kW provides a max head of 43m.
