Description

The Pedrollo multistage CP range uses multiple impellers arranged in series within a single pump housing — each impeller adds pressure to the flow from the previous stage. The result is significantly higher head pressure than a single-stage centrifugal pump of the same motor rating, making multistage pumps the correct specification wherever high pressure is required at meaningful flow rates.

The 2CP 40 series uses the largest body in the twin-stage range, accommodating flows up to 450 l/min (27 m³/h) — the highest flow capacity in the 2CP range. Three-phase only. Maximum working pressure 10 bar. IPX5 weatherproof protection. Inverter compatible.

The 2CP 40/180B at 5.5kW delivers 80m maximum head — 15m more than the 2CP 40/180C — while maintaining the same 450 l/min maximum flow capacity. This additional head is critical for tall or elevated installations where the 2CP 40/180C’s 65m is insufficient.

Specified for major civil infrastructure projects, large-scale fire-fighting systems in tall structures requiring both pressure and high volume, industrial facilities with demanding simultaneous high-flow and high-head requirements, large district energy systems, and water treatment distribution networks with elevation.

Cast iron body, AISI 304 impellers (ten-year guarantee), IE3 motor, IPX5 protection, inverter compatible. Maximum pressure 10 bar. At 5.5kW professional electrical installation by a qualified electrician is essential.
