Pedrollo CKM 50 Viton Seal

R4,857.05

The CKM 50 is a liquid ring self-priming pump with a Viton mechanical seal — a fundamentally different technology from standard peripheral pumps. Its liquid ring mechanism allows it to pump diesel, naphtha, clean water, and non-corrosive liquids that contain air or gas without losing prime. The Viton seal makes it chemically resistant to fuels and a wide range of industrial fluids.

Description

The Pedrollo CKM 50 uses liquid ring technology — a self-priming mechanism fundamentally different from standard peripheral or centrifugal pumps. Inside the pump, a rotating impeller creates a ring of liquid against the casing walls. This liquid ring acts as a seal and a priming mechanism simultaneously, compressing gas and expelling air from the suction line until liquid begins to flow.

This makes the CKM 50 uniquely suited to pumping diesel, naphtha, or petroleum products; handling liquids mixed with air or gas; and applications where suction conditions are irregular. The Viton (FKM) mechanical seal provides chemical resistance to hydrocarbon fuels, oils, and industrial solvents. Liquid temperature range is -10°C to +90°C (+55°C for diesel/naphtha). Maximum working pressure is 6 bar.

The 0.37kW single-phase 230V motor features integrated thermal protection and IPX4 weatherproof rating. Maximum suction lift is 9 metres.
