Pedrollo PKSM 60

R2,775.46

The PKSM 60 is the self-priming version of the PKM 60 — fitted with a built-in non-return check valve that allows the pump to draw water from a source below the pump level without manual priming. Ideal for installations where the water source sits below the pump, or where the suction line may occasionally drain and require the pump to re-prime itself automatically.

Description

The Pedrollo PKSM 60 belongs to the PKS series — Pedrollo’s self-priming peripheral pump range. The critical difference between the PKSM 60 and the standard PKM 60 is the integrated non-return check valve on the suction side. This valve retains water in the pump casing after the pump stops, allowing it to re-prime the suction line automatically on the next startup without any manual intervention.

This makes the PKSM 60 the correct choice whenever the pump is installed above the water source — drawing from a ground-level tank, a shallow well, a river intake, or any installation where the suction line may drain between pump cycles.

The PKSM 60 also handles suction lines that carry irregular flow or air-entrained liquid. Maximum suction lift is 9 metres. Construction features a corrosion-resistant pump body, stainless steel impeller, and a 230V single-phase IE2 motor with integrated thermal protection and IPX4 weatherproof rating.

• Power: 0.37 kW | Voltage: 230V Single Phase | Max Flow: 50 l/min (3.0 m³/h) | Max Head: 70m | Max Suction Lift: 9m | Self-Priming: Yes | Connection: 1″ BSP
