Pedrollo PVM 55

R4,510.12

The PVM 55 is Pedrollo’s compact brass-body peripheral pump — built entirely from brass and aluminium with no cast iron components, making it completely rust-proof and suited to cooling systems, air conditioning circuits, ironing systems, industrial fluid handling, and any application where iron contamination or corrosion is unacceptable.

Description

The Pedrollo PVM 55 belongs to the PV series — Pedrollo’s peripheral pump range with full brass pump body construction. Where the PKM, PQM, and PQA series use cast iron or polymer pump bodies, the PVM 55 is built with a brass pump body and brass cover, eliminating rust and ferrous contamination entirely.

This makes the PVM 55 the correct specification for cooling and air conditioning recirculation circuits, steam ironing systems, medical and laboratory water supplies, food industry water handling, and industrial process cooling where water quality and system cleanliness are critical.

The pump impeller is also brass with radial peripheral vane type, and the mechanical seal is a silicon carbide / graphite / NBR combination. The motor shaft is stainless steel AISI 431. The 230V single-phase IE2 motor has integrated thermal protection. For three-phase installations, the PV 55 (PED 1957) is the equivalent.
