Pedrollo PQAM 60

Description

The Pedrollo PQAM 60 belongs to the PQA series — Pedrollo’s most chemically resistant peripheral pump range. The defining feature is the PPS (polyphenylene sulphide) pump body — a high-performance engineering thermoplastic providing chemical resistance exceeding both cast iron and brass across a wide range of acids, alkalis, solvents, and industrial chemicals.

PPS is particularly valued in applications involving treated or chemically dosed water, swimming pool chemical systems, mild acid or alkali solutions, industrial cooling circuits with chemical additives, and any fluid that would attack iron or degrade brass over time. The PPS body is also completely rust-free.

The silicon carbide / graphite / NBR mechanical seal (Type ST1-12) and stainless steel AISI 431 motor shaft provide corrosion resistance throughout the wetted path. Pump body ports use ISO 228/1 threaded metal inserts for durable connection. The 230V single-phase IE2 motor features integrated thermal protection. For higher flow requirements, the PQAM 70 (PED 1795) provides greater capacity.
