Description

The Pedrollo BC and MC series are heavy-duty submersible sewage pumps featuring a TWO-CHANNEL impeller in micro-cast AISI 304 stainless steel. The two-channel impeller design provides two large unobstructed flow passages through the impeller, allowing solids up to 50mm in diameter, short fibres, and sewage to pass freely without clogging. Cast iron body with cataphoresis treatment provides exceptional robustness and corrosion resistance for demanding permanent installation in sewage and drainage applications.

The MC 30/50 at 2.2kW represents the ceiling of the standard MC sewage pump range in the PedroPumps catalogue. It delivers 24m maximum head — 6m more than the MC 20/50 — while maintaining the same 1100 l/min maximum flow and 50mm solid handling capability.

This additional head capacity is critical for deep wet wells, tall buildings where sewage must be pumped to significant height, long horizontal discharge runs with high pipe friction, and industrial applications requiring maximum sewage pump performance. The MC 30/50 is specified when the MC 20/50’s 18m head is the limiting factor in the system design.

Cast iron body cataphoresis, two-channel AISI 304 micro-cast impeller, AISI 431 shaft. Double mechanical seal in oil chamber. Three-phase motor requires connection to a correctly rated motor protection switchboard (available on request). 10m cable. 2½” outlet. IP X8. Max submersion 10m. At 2.2kW professional electrical installation is essential.
