Description

The Pedrollo large CP range — covering the CP 160, CP 210, CP 220, CP 230, and CP 250 series — extends the proven CP centrifugal pump platform into commercial, agricultural, and industrial territory. Where the standard CP range (up to CP 200) delivers up to 160 l/min and 56m head, the large CP range handles flows up to 900 l/min (54 m³/h) and heads up to 76m — serving civil water distribution networks, large-scale irrigation, industrial cooling and process water, air conditioning systems, and building services.

The CPM 160B is the 1.5kW single-phase model in the CP 160 sub-range — the entry point to the large CP series for installations with single-phase 230V supply. Its maximum flow of 240 l/min (14.4 m³/h) is 50% higher than the standard CP 190 or CP 200, making it a different class of pump for a different scale of application.

At a maximum head of 37m, the CPM 160B suits large civil and residential water distribution networks, sizeable garden and agricultural irrigation systems, commercial swimming pool circulation, industrial process cooling, and air conditioning systems with substantial flow requirements. It is particularly effective where multiple outlets operate simultaneously at high demand.

Construction follows the CP series platform: cast iron pump body with cataphoresis anti-corrosion treatment, AISI 304 stainless steel impeller with ten-year Pedrollo guarantee, mechanical seal on stainless steel shaft. The 230V single-phase IE2 motor carries class F insulation and IPX4 weatherproof protection with integrated thermal cutout. Maximum working pressure 10 bar. Suction head up to 7m.

At 1.5kW on single-phase supply, confirm your electrical circuit is correctly rated before installation. For greater output, the CPM 160A (PED 2565) at 2.2kW delivers max head of 43m. For three-phase supply, the CP 160B (PED 3160) offers IE3 efficiency and inverter compatibility.
