Description

The Pedrollo F series is a range of close-coupled centrifugal pumps built and tested to the EN733 international standard — the recognised benchmark for centrifugal pump performance and dimensional interchangeability. All F series pumps feature flanged inlet and outlet connections (flanges not included — see flange sets sold separately) and are designed for clean water transfer, pressurisation, irrigation, air conditioning systems, firefighting, and industrial and agricultural water supply.

The F 50/250 sub-range uses the 50mm outlet body with the larger 250mm impeller, prioritising maximum head over maximum flow compared to the 50/200 sub-range. Flow up to 1000 l/min at heads up to 95m. Three-phase only. Flanges sold separately.

The F 50/250A at 18.5kW delivers 85m maximum head — 13m more than the F 50/250B — while maintaining the same 1000 l/min (60 m³/h) maximum flow. At 85m it covers buildings of approximately 25 storeys and most elevated tank supply scenarios, making it the most widely specified F 50/250 model in South African commercial and industrial applications.

The F 50/250A is specified for very tall commercial and residential buildings, civil water infrastructure serving significantly elevated areas, long pipeline distribution systems with high cumulative friction losses, major firefighting systems in high-rise structures, and industrial pressure applications where the F 50/250B’s 72m head is insufficient.

IE3-class three-phase motor with class F insulation and IP55 weatherproof protection. Inverter compatible for variable speed pressure control. EN733 flanged connections — flanges sold separately (PED 3430). Maximum pressure 10 bar. At 18.5kW a qualified electrical engineer must verify installation ratings before commissioning.
