Description

The Pedrollo JSW series is a range of self-priming jet pumps — one of the most widely recognised pump ranges in domestic and civil water supply worldwide. JSW pumps use an integrated ejector unit that creates a vacuum on the suction side, allowing the pump to draw water from depths of up to 9 metres below the pump and to handle suction lines that contain air or gas without losing prime. They are the standard specification for drawing from shallow wells, underground tanks, rivers, and any installation where the water source is below the pump.

The Pedrollo deepwell JSW series uses a two-pipe shallow well ejector system — a suction pipe drawing water from the source and a smaller return pipe feeding the ejector nozzle at depth. This two-pipe arrangement allows the pump to draw water effectively from greater depths and from wells where the water level fluctuates, extending the practical suction range beyond the standard single-pipe JSW configuration.

The JSW 3BM Deepwell delivers 63m maximum head — 9m more than the JSW 3CM Deepwell — at the same 1.1kW motor rating and identical 160 l/min maximum flow. The ‘B’ designation within the medium (‘M’) head range indicates a higher head impeller configuration that provides additional pressure reserve without increasing motor power.

This makes the JSW 3BM Deepwell the preferred 1.1kW deepwell specification for installations where water must be delivered to greater elevation after being drawn from the well — supplying upper floors, filling elevated tanks, or serving distribution points at significant height above the pump location.

Two-pipe ejector configuration suits shallow wells and underground sources. Cast iron pump body with cataphoresis treatment, AISI 304 stainless steel impeller, Noryl ejector unit, AISI 431 motor shaft. IE2 motor, class F insulation, IPX4 protection, integrated thermal cutout. Max pressure 10 bar. Max suction 9m.
