Description

The Pedrollo multistage CP range uses multiple impellers arranged in series within a single pump housing — each impeller adds pressure to the flow from the previous stage. The result is significantly higher head pressure than a single-stage centrifugal pump of the same motor rating, making multistage pumps the correct specification wherever high pressure is required at meaningful flow rates.

The 2CP 40 series uses the largest body in the twin-stage range, accommodating flows up to 450 l/min (27 m³/h) — the highest flow capacity in the 2CP range. Three-phase only. Maximum working pressure 10 bar. IPX5 weatherproof protection. Inverter compatible.

The 2CP 40/180C at 4kW is the entry point to the 2CP 40 range. Its 450 l/min maximum flow (27 m³/h) is 80% higher than the 2CP 32 series — a fundamentally different scale of application. Twin-stage design delivers 65m maximum head, providing meaningful pressure at what is genuinely high-volume flow.

The 2CP 40/180C is specified for major civil water distribution infrastructure, large commercial and industrial facilities requiring very high simultaneous flow, fire-fighting systems in large buildings requiring both pressure and volume, major irrigation schemes, district cooling and heating primary circulation, and water treatment distribution applications.

Cast iron body with cataphoresis treatment, AISI 304 stainless steel impellers (ten-year guarantee). IE3-class three-phase motor with class F insulation, IPX5 weatherproof protection, and inverter compatibility. Maximum working pressure 10 bar. At 4kW professional electrical installation is essential.
