Description

The Pedrollo multistage CP range uses multiple impellers arranged in series within a single pump housing — each impeller adds pressure to the flow from the previous stage. The result is significantly higher head pressure than a single-stage centrifugal pump of the same motor rating, making multistage pumps the correct specification wherever high pressure is required at meaningful flow rates.

The 2CP 25 series uses two impellers in series within the 25-body housing, delivering head pressures up to 68m — significantly more than single-stage CP pumps of equivalent power. The ’25’ designation refers to the pump body size, which accommodates flows up to 160 l/min (9.6 m³/h). Maximum working pressure 6 bar. Connections: 1¼” inlet / 1″ outlet.

The 2CPM 25/16A at 2.2kW delivers 68m maximum head — the highest head of any single-phase pump in the 2CP 25 range — combined with 160 l/min maximum flow. This represents the ceiling of single-phase 2CP performance: two impeller stages, the largest 25-body motor, and the greatest head achievable without moving to three-phase supply or the larger 32/40-body 2CP range.

The 2CPM 25/16A is specified for demanding multi-storey building pressure supply, fire-fighting units requiring high pressure at meaningful flow, large estate irrigation with significant elevation, major autoclave pressure systems, and civil water distribution applications where single-phase supply is the only option and maximum pressure is required.

Cast iron body with cataphoresis treatment, AISI 304 stainless steel impellers (ten-year guarantee). IE2 single-phase motor with class F insulation, IPX4 protection, integrated thermal cutout. At 2.2kW a qualified electrician must confirm your installation is correctly rated. For three-phase equivalent, the 2CP 25/16A (PED 5800) provides IE3 motor efficiency.
