Description

The Pedrollo large CP range — covering the CP 160, CP 210, CP 220, CP 230, and CP 250 series — extends the proven CP centrifugal pump platform into commercial, agricultural, and industrial territory. Where the standard CP range (up to CP 200) delivers up to 160 l/min and 56m head, the large CP range handles flows up to 900 l/min (54 m³/h) and heads up to 76m — serving civil water distribution networks, large-scale irrigation, industrial cooling and process water, air conditioning systems, and building services.

The CP 160C is the entry-level three-phase model in the CP 160 sub-range. At 1.1kW on 400V three-phase supply, it delivers a maximum flow of 240 l/min (14.4 m³/h) — significantly more than the standard 1.1kW CP 170, which peaks at 160 l/min. The CP 160 series uses a larger pump body to achieve this higher flow capacity.

The CP 160C suits medium-large civil water distribution networks, agricultural irrigation systems with multiple simultaneous zones, commercial building water supply, swimming pool circulation, and industrial cooling circuits with moderate head requirements. Its maximum head of 32m is well suited to systems that prioritise flow volume over maximum elevation.

Three-phase IE3 motor technology provides smooth startup, excellent efficiency under continuous load, and inverter compatibility for variable speed operation. Cast iron pump body with cataphoresis treatment, AISI 304 stainless steel impeller (ten-year guarantee), stainless steel shaft. Class F insulation, IPX4 weatherproof protection. Maximum working pressure 10 bar.

For greater head at this flow level, the CP 160B (PED 3160) and CP 160A (PED 3165) provide 37m and 43m respectively. For single-phase supply, no CPm 160C is available — the CPm 160B (PED 2560) at 1.5kW is the closest single-phase option.
