Pedrollo CPM 130 ST4

Description

The CP-ST4 series is Pedrollo’s all-stainless-steel centrifugal pump range. Where the standard CP series uses a cast iron pump body (with cataphoresis treatment) and stainless steel impeller, the CP-ST4 goes further: ALL components in contact with the pumped liquid — pump body, rotor, and impeller — are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel. This makes the CP-ST4 series the correct specification wherever total hygiene, maximum corrosion resistance, or the absence of any cast iron in the fluid path is required.

The CPM 130 ST4 delivers a maximum flow of 270 l/min (up from 160 l/min in the standard CPM CPM 130) and a maximum head of 22.5m. The higher flow capacity of the ST4 range reflects the different hydraulic design of the all-stainless pump body, which provides greater flow passage area.

Applications where the CP-ST4 is the correct specification over the standard CP: potable water supply and treatment where any iron leaching is unacceptable; food and beverage processing; swimming pool and spa water circulation where chlorinated water would accelerate corrosion; irrigation with chemically treated water; industrial processes involving mild acids, alkalis, or corrosive additives; and hygiene-critical medical, pharmaceutical, or laboratory water supply.

The AISI 304 stainless steel pump body, AISI 304 rotor and impeller, and AISI 431 stainless steel shaft ensure zero ferrous contamination of the pumped liquid. The mechanical seal uses silicon carbide/graphite/NBR materials. The 230V single-phase IE2 motor has class F insulation, IPX4 protection, and integrated thermal cutout. Maximum working pressure 6 bar. Suction head up to 7m. Temperature range -10°C to +90°C.

For standard clean water applications without hygiene or corrosion requirements, the CPM 130 (PED 2270) provides equivalent flow at lower cost. For three-phase supply, CP-ST4 three-phase variants are available.
