Description

The Pedrollo F series is a range of close-coupled centrifugal pumps built and tested to the EN733 international standard — the recognised benchmark for centrifugal pump performance and dimensional interchangeability. All F series pumps feature flanged inlet and outlet connections (flanges not included — see flange sets sold separately) and are designed for clean water transfer, pressurisation, irrigation, air conditioning systems, firefighting, and industrial and agricultural water supply.

The F 50/250 sub-range uses the 50mm outlet body with the larger 250mm impeller, prioritising maximum head over maximum flow compared to the 50/200 sub-range. Flow up to 1000 l/min at heads up to 95m. Three-phase only. Flanges sold separately.

The F 50/250B at 15kW represents the important hydraulic distinction within the F 50 range: where the F 50/200 series maximises flow (up to 1800 l/min), the F 50/250 series maximises head (up to 95m) at a more moderate flow of up to 1000 l/min. The F 50/250B delivers 72m maximum head — 20m more than the F 50/200B at the same power rating.

The F 50/250B is specified for applications where head is the critical constraint: tall building water supply at significant elevation, civil water distribution serving elevated areas, long pipeline systems with high friction losses, major firefighting systems in tall structures requiring high pressure, and industrial applications where pressure rather than flow volume is the limiting factor.

IE3-class three-phase motor with class F insulation and IP55 weatherproof protection. Inverter compatible. EN733 flanged connections — flanges sold separately (PED 3430). Maximum pressure 10 bar. At 15kW professional electrical installation is mandatory.
