JSW Jet Self-Priming PumpsThe Pedrollo JSW series is a range of self-priming jet pumps — one of the most widely recognised pump ranges in domestic and civil water supply worldwide. JSW pumps use an integrated ejector unit that creates a vacuum on the suction side, allowing the pump to draw water from depths of up to 9 metres below the pump and to handle suction lines that contain air or gas without losing prime. They are the standard specification for drawing from shallow wells, underground tanks, rivers, and any installation where the water source is below the pump.

The Pedrollo deepwell JSW series uses a two-pipe shallow well ejector system — a suction pipe drawing water from the source and a smaller return pipe feeding the ejector nozzle at depth. This two-pipe arrangement allows the pump to draw water effectively from greater depths and from wells where the water level fluctuates, extending the practical suction range beyond the standard single-pipe JSW configuration.

The JSW 2BX Deepwell at 0.9kW is the higher-powered model in the JSW 2 deepwell range — equivalent hydraulically to the JSWM 2AX but in the two-pipe ejector configuration. Its maximum flow of 70 l/min and maximum head of 58m make it the most capable standard JSW 2 specification.

The two-pipe shallow well system is specified for wells where the static water level is at greater depth, where suction conditions are more demanding than a surface installation, or where reliable priming from depth is required without manual intervention. The ejector pipe returns a portion of pumped water to a nozzle at depth, creating suction that draws water up the main suction pipe.

Cast iron pump body with cataphoresis treatment, stainless steel AISI 304 cover and impeller, Noryl ejector unit, AISI 431 motor shaft. IE2 motor with class F insulation, IPX4 protection, integrated thermal cutout. Maximum suction head 9m. Maximum working pressure 6 bar. For higher flow in a deepwell configuration, the JSW 3 deepwell range (from PED 8735) provides up to 160 l/min.
