Description

The Pedrollo JSW series is a range of self-priming jet pumps — one of the most widely recognised pump ranges in domestic and civil water supply worldwide. JSW pumps use an integrated ejector unit that creates a vacuum on the suction side, allowing the pump to draw water from depths of up to 9 metres below the pump and to handle suction lines that contain air or gas without losing prime. They are the standard specification for drawing from shallow wells, underground tanks, rivers, and any installation where the water source is below the pump.

The JSWM 3CM 1.5kW and the JSWM 3CM 1.1kW share the same medium-head impeller configuration and maximum flow of 160 l/min — the distinction is head capacity and motor power. At 1.5kW, the 3CM delivers 63m maximum head versus 54m for the 1.1kW version, providing 9m of additional head reserve for more demanding applications.

This additional head capacity is particularly valuable in installations where the pump must push water to greater elevation, overcome significant pipe friction in long suction or delivery runs, or serve multiple simultaneous outlets while maintaining adequate pressure at the furthest point. The 1.5kW 3CM is specified when the 1.1kW 3CM is found to operate near its performance limit.

Self-priming from up to 9m suction depth. The JSW series’ ability to handle air-entrained suction makes it the correct choice for installations where the suction line may occasionally drain — the pump re-primes automatically without manual intervention.

Cast iron pump body with cataphoresis treatment, AISI 304 stainless steel impeller, Noryl ejector unit, AISI 431 motor shaft. IE2 motor with class F insulation, IPX4 protection, integrated thermal cutout. Max pressure 10 bar. At 1.5kW confirm your single-phase circuit is correctly rated before installation.
