Pedrollo NGA 1B

Description

The Pedrollo NGA series features an open impeller design — a fundamentally different approach from standard closed-impeller centrifugal pumps. The open impeller has no front shroud, creating a wide clearance between the impeller vanes and the pump casing. This allows the pump to handle impurity-laden fluids, suspended solids, fibrous materials, and liquids that would clog a standard closed impeller. NGA pumps are the correct specification for drawing from channels, rivers, irrigation canals, agricultural tanks and basins, effluent ponds, and any source containing particulate matter.

The NGA 1B is the three-phase counterpart to the single-phase NGAM 1B, sharing the same open impeller hydraulic specification while delivering the operational advantages of three-phase IE3 motor technology — smoother startup, better efficiency under continuous load, and inverter compatibility for variable speed applications.

On three-phase 400V supply the NGA 1B is the preferred specification for commercial agricultural operations drawing from channels and rivers, large irrigation systems requiring continuous duty operation, light industrial effluent handling, and any three-phase installation where particulate-laden water must be pumped reliably.

AISI 316 open impeller (from January 2024), cast iron body cataphoresis, AISI 304 cover, AISI 431 shaft. IE3 motor, class F insulation, IPX4 protection. Max pressure 6 bar. Ports: 1½” BSP. Inverter compatible.
