Description

The Pedrollo RX series is an all-stainless-steel submersible drainage pump range — where the technopolymer TOP series suits standard domestic drainage, the RX series is specified for permanent fixed installations, higher duty cycles, deeper submersion requirements, and applications where the longevity and chemical resistance of full stainless steel construction is required. ALL components in contact with the pumped liquid — outer sleeve, suction filter, diffuser, impeller, motor sleeve, and motor cover — are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel.

The RXM 5/40 is the highest-specification model in the RX vortex dirty water range. At 1.1kW it delivers 12.8m maximum head and 380 l/min maximum flow, with the vortex impeller handling solids up to 40mm in diameter — the largest solid-handling capability in the stainless RX range.

The /40 designation indicates the 40mm solid passage capability, which covers most commercial and light industrial dirty water scenarios. Combined with full AISI 304 stainless steel wetted path construction and 10m submersion depth capability, the RXM 5/40 serves demanding permanent dirty water drainage installations in commercial basements, underground car parks, construction dewatering, and industrial effluent collection pits where both durability and solid handling are critical.
