Description

The Pedrollo VX series is a range of cast iron submersible vortex pumps for dirty water, sewage, and drainage containing suspended solids. The VORTEX impeller design creates a rotating liquid column that carries solids through the pump without direct impeller contact — preventing clogging and allowing reliable operation with wastewater, sewage, surface water with grit, and sludge-mixed water. The VX series is a step up from the compact TOP Vortex range, with cast iron construction for heavier-duty fixed and semi-fixed installations.

The VX 10/35 is the three-phase counterpart to the single-phase VXM 10/35, sharing the same vortex hydraulic specification — 600 l/min maximum flow, 11m maximum head, 40mm solid handling through a 1½” port — while delivering the operational advantages of three-phase IE3 motor technology.

Three-phase submersible vortex pumps are specified for permanent commercial and industrial dirty water drainage installations: underground car parks, commercial basement drainage systems, sewage collection points in commercial buildings, industrial process drainage, construction dewatering on three-phase sites, and any application requiring continuous-duty vortex pump operation on 400V supply.

Cast iron body, AISI 304 vortex impeller and motor components, AISI 431 shaft. Double mechanical seal in oil chamber. Three-phase motor, class F insulation, IP X8 protection. Max depth 5m. Max temp +40°C.
