Description

The Pedrollo VX series is a range of cast iron submersible vortex pumps for dirty water, sewage, and drainage containing suspended solids. The VORTEX impeller design creates a rotating liquid column that carries solids through the pump without direct impeller contact — preventing clogging and allowing reliable operation with wastewater, sewage, surface water with grit, and sludge-mixed water. The VX series is a step up from the compact TOP Vortex range, with cast iron construction for heavier-duty fixed and semi-fixed installations.

The VXM 10/35 at 0.75kW delivers 11m maximum head — 2m more than the VXM 8/35 — while maintaining the same 600 l/min maximum flow and 40mm solid handling capability. This additional head provides meaningful reserve for installations with greater lift requirements or longer delivery pipe runs.

The VXM 10/35 is specified for permanent and semi-fixed dirty water drainage installations where the 8/35’s 9m head is insufficient — deeper sumps, longer discharge runs, or installations needing more pressure reserve. Same cast iron construction, AISI 304 vortex impeller, IP X8 protection as the VXM 8/35.

5m cable, float switch, max depth 5m, max temp +40°C. For three-phase supply, the VX 10/35 (PED 9660) provides equivalent performance with IE3 efficiency.
