Pedrollo CP 158 ST4

Description

The CP-ST4 series is Pedrollo’s all-stainless-steel centrifugal pump range. Where the standard CP series uses a cast iron pump body (with cataphoresis treatment) and stainless steel impeller, the CP-ST4 goes further: ALL components in contact with the pumped liquid — pump body, rotor, and impeller — are manufactured from AISI 304 stainless steel. This makes the CP-ST4 series the correct specification wherever total hygiene, maximum corrosion resistance, or the absence of any cast iron in the fluid path is required.

The CP 158 ST4 is the three-phase version of the CP-ST4 range, combining all-stainless wetted path construction with the operational advantages of three-phase IE3 motor technology: smoother startup, better efficiency under continuous load, inverter compatibility for variable speed operation, and longer motor life.

The CP 158 ST4 delivers a maximum flow of 270 l/min and maximum head of 36.5m. It is specified for commercial and industrial applications requiring the hygiene and corrosion resistance of all-stainless construction combined with the efficiency benefits of three-phase power: commercial food and beverage processing plants, swimming pool and leisure facility water supply, potable water distribution systems, industrial cooling with chemically treated water, and pharmaceutical or medical water supply.

All components in contact with the pumped liquid — pump body, rotor, impeller — are AISI 304 stainless steel. AISI 431 stainless steel motor shaft. Silicon carbide/graphite/NBR mechanical seal. The IE3-class three-phase motor has class F insulation and IPX4 protection. Maximum working pressure 6 bar. Suction head up to 7m. Temperature range -10°C to +90°C. Inverter compatible.

For single-phase 230V installations requiring all-stainless construction, the CPm version of this ST4 model is the equivalent. For standard cast iron body applications on three-phase supply, the CP 158 (PED 2910) provides equivalent hydraulics at lower cost.
