Description

The Pedrollo CP 170M is the three-phase 400V counterpart to the single-phase CPM 170M (PED 2330), sharing the same centrifugal pump hydraulics while delivering the substantial operational advantages of three-phase motor technology.

At 1.1kW on 400V three-phase supply, the CP 170M delivers a maximum head of 36m and maximum flow of 160 l/min (9.6 m³/h). Three-phase motors bring critical advantages for commercial and industrial use: smoother startup reducing mechanical stress, better efficiency under continuous load, lower startup current relative to power output, inverter compatibility for variable speed operation, and significantly longer motor life in sustained-duty applications. The CP 170M’s flow-optimised impeller makes it the preferred three-phase specification when volume throughput is the priority over maximum head.

The CP three-phase range features the same proven CP construction: cast iron pump body with cataphoresis anti-corrosion treatment, AISI 304 stainless steel impeller with ten-year Pedrollo guarantee, mechanical seal on AISI 431 stainless steel shaft, and 1¼” inlet / 1″ outlet connections. The IE3-class three-phase motor has class F insulation and IPX4 weatherproof protection. Maximum working pressure 10 bar. Suction head up to 7m. Operating temperature -10°C to +90°C.

For single-phase 230V installations, the CPM 170M (PED 2330) provides equivalent hydraulic performance. For all-stainless wetted parts on three-phase supply, ST4 variants are available in the CP-ST4 range.
