Description

The Pedrollo JSW series is a range of self-priming jet pumps — one of the most widely recognised pump ranges in domestic and civil water supply worldwide. JSW pumps use an integrated ejector unit that creates a vacuum on the suction side, allowing the pump to draw water from depths of up to 9 metres below the pump and to handle suction lines that contain air or gas without losing prime. They are the standard specification for drawing from shallow wells, underground tanks, rivers, and any installation where the water source is below the pump.

The JSWM 3CM is the entry-level 1.1kW model in the JSW 3 medium-head (‘M’) range. The JSW 3 series steps up significantly from the JSW 1-2 range — where the JSW 2 handles up to 70 l/min, the JSW 3 handles up to 160 l/min (9.6 m³/h), making it the correct specification for larger domestic properties, agricultural irrigation, and civil water supply where the smaller JSW range cannot meet demand.

The ‘M’ (medium) designation within the JSW 3 range indicates a balanced impeller configuration — delivering 54m maximum head and 160 l/min maximum flow. This sits between the ‘H’ (high head) variants which prioritise pressure, and the ‘L’ (low head/high flow) variants which prioritise volume. The 3CM is the most versatile specification in the 1.1kW JSW 3 range for general-purpose domestic and civil use.

Self-priming capability with up to 9m suction head allows installation well above the water source — ideal for drawing from wells, underground tanks, rivers, and rain water harvesting tanks. The integrated ejector unit handles air-entrained suction conditions without losing prime.

Cast iron pump body with cataphoresis treatment, AISI 304 stainless steel impeller, Noryl ejector unit, AISI 431 motor shaft. IE2 single-phase motor with class F insulation, IPX4 protection, integrated thermal cutout. Max pressure 10 bar. For higher head at this flow level, the JSWM 3CM 1.5kW (PED 7770) provides 63m.
