Description

The Pedrollo NGA-PRO series is the all-stainless evolution of the standard NGA open impeller range. Where the standard NGA uses a cast iron body with an AISI 316 impeller, the NGA-PRO has ALL wetted components — pump body, cover, and impeller — manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel. Viton seals replace NBR for enhanced chemical resistance. This makes the NGA-PRO the correct specification for mildly corrosive fluids, seawater-influenced applications, treated effluent, chemical-dosed irrigation water, and any application where cast iron in the fluid path would corrode or contaminate.

The PRO-NGAM 1A delivers the same hydraulic performance as the standard NGAM 1A — 400 l/min maximum flow and 20.5m maximum head — but with every component in the fluid path manufactured from AISI 316L stainless steel. The Viton (FKM) seals provide resistance to a wider range of chemicals than the NBR seals used in the standard NGA range.

Typical applications for the NGA-PRO over the standard NGA include: irrigation systems using chemically treated or fertiliser-dosed water; coastal and estuarine pumping where salt or brackish water is present; municipal or industrial effluent handling; chemical processing plant water supply; and food and beverage production where stainless construction is required for hygiene compliance.

The open impeller handles suspended solids up to 12mm diameter, fibres, and particulate matter without clogging — all the advantages of the NGA open impeller design, with full 316L stainless protection. IE2 single-phase motor, class F insulation, IPX4 protection. Max pressure 6 bar. Ports: 1½” BSP.
